NAPSPA to decide on schools re-opening; this after reports of COVID-19 at another school

Unconfirmed reports suggest another primary school has been closed, as a student sitting the S.E.A exams contracted COVID-19.

Izzso Media spoke with The National Primary Schools Principals’ Association (NAPSPA) Lance Mottley this morning, who said that he is aware of reports of the school based in Central Trinidad being shut down due to the Coronavirus; but cannot confirm whether the report is true.

He said NAPSPA is scheduled to meet today, Sunday August 2nd, to discuss plans regarding the opening of schools in September and the next step to ensure that all students are safe.
