The National Petroleum Company limited is refuting claims of a proposed shutdown of fuel operations due to happen today. Social media posts circulating this past weekend referred to a planned shutdown at service stations across the weekend. The posts urged drivers too fill up their tanks in preparation for the suggested shutdown.
National Petroleum issued a statement advising drivers that as the country’s largest service station network operator remains committed to providing a reliable and convenient supply of quality fuel to it’s valued customers.
