The MV Emprendedora will be added to the daily schedule for the inter-island ferry service from tomorrow as repairs continue on the MV Cabo Star.
The Management of Trinidad and Tobago Inter-Island Transportation Co Ltd (TTIT) advised truckers and port users that additional sailings have also been included on the schedule from Tuesday to assist with the cargo requirements during the absence of the vessel.
TTIT said the Cabo Star’s repairs should be completed by Friday.
Vehicles up to 7000kgs can be accommodated on the vessels.
The TTIT said priority will be given to foodstuff, pharmaceuticals and other perishables.
