MV Cabo Star being taken out of service for maintenance

The Trinidad and Tobago Inter-Island Transportation Company has advised that the MV Cabo Star cargo vessel will be taken out of service for maintenance from Saturday 16th January to Tuesday 2nd February 2021.

The Company says while the vessel is on drydock in Curacao, the T&T Spirit and Jean De La Valette will accommodate vehicles with a weight of up to 7,000 kilograms.

However, it says, due to unavailability of space, there will be no storage of cargo on the port and flatbed operations will cease.

It also warns that vehicles without an accompanying driver will not be allowed on the T&T Spirit, Jean De La Valette or Galleons Passage.

The Cabo Star is expected back in service on Wednesday 3rd February 2021.
