An Oklahoma mum was kicked out of a church service for allegedly trying to smuggle weed inside, when in fact it was cilantro for her Menudo.
The confrontation was caught on camera at Redemption United Methodist Church in Oklahoma City on Monday by Ashley, who was pressed by church members over her skeptical Mexican soup topping, with the TikTok video already up to 3.5million views.
One of the women repeatedly orders, ushering her out of the church, “you have to leave now. You have to leave now.”
“You’re gonna bring drugs in here?”the woman fires back.
“That’s cilantro! That’s for the food! That’s for the menudo!” Ashley insists.“That’s not weed! Smell it, I promise you!”
The church made an announcement sharing that the sermon was for prison inmates and household members; it contended the event was not about drugs at all, but that it had a policy against passing food to prisoners.
