MSJ leader meets Marabella residents following blast; slams Niquan for not visiting

Movement for Social Justice Political Leader, David Abdullah, says residents of Silk Cotton Street, Marabella are claiming they are yet to be visited by any official following Wednesday’s Niquan plant explosion.

The MSJ Political Leader visited the residents at on Thursday.

Speaking with NEWS POWER NOW, the MSJ Political Leader revealed some of the high-points of his interaction with the residents.

Meanwhile, also speaking with NEWS POWER NOW, Member of Parliament for Point –a –Pierre, David Lee, said he is happy with the announcement by the Energy Minister the Niquan Plant will not be in operation until an investigation find out the cause of the explosion.

MP Lee said moving forward its vital appropriate steps be put in place with respect to safety.
