MSJ criticises UNC for not responding in Budget Debate

The United National Congress is upset over what they say was an unexpected end to the Budget Debate on Saturday in the Parliament.
While the UNC is blaming the Government and the Government is blaming the UNC, the MSJ is blaming both of them.
After 5pm on Saturday Minister in the Ministry of Education Lisa Morris Julien had just wrapped up her contribution to the Budget presentation.
The Government claims that they were waiting on the Opposition to appoint a speaker however after several minutes of silence and cross talk the Speaker gave way to the Finance Minister to wind up the debate.
MSJ Leader David Abdullah says that the UNC did not take the opportunity to have more of their speakers and Shadow Ministers speak on crucial aspects of the Budget.
