How much will it cost the government to operationalize the proposed Trinidad and Tobago Revenue Authority?
This question was posed by Opposition Member of Parliament for Princes Town, Barry Padarath, as he contributed to debate on the TTRA Bill, 2021, in the parliament Wednesday afternoon.
MP Padarath said he is hoping this question is answered by the Finance Minister in his wrapping up of the debate.
The Opposition MP is also asking for details pertaining to the human resource framework which will be put in place under the TTRA model.
MP Padarath said the nation should be brought up to date on matters relating to the transition of employees from the Board of Inland Revenue to the TTRA.
