The Ministry of Works and Transport is advising the public that the North Coast Road – La Filette is currently open to single lane traffic due to a landslip and fallen trees in the area.
It says crews have been dispatched from the Mechanical Services Division to clear heavy debris, to restore full connectivity and vehicular access in the shortest possible timeframe.
The public has been urged to exercise extreme caution when traversing the area as there is a significant amount of rock and debris along the roadway between the lookout and Maracas Bay.
