A shooting in Morvant this morning has claimed the life of a 43-year-old man.
Dead is Ronnie Samuel of Cipriani Avenue, Second Caledonia.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain unclear, but police report that Samuel was in his yard when he was shot sometime around 12:40am.
Officers were called to the scene by Samuel’s relatives and took the then wounded man to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex.
However, he was declared dead at 1.45 am.
Investigations are continuing.
