More safety measures will be added by the relevant authorities at the Macoya Road and Priority Bus Route Intersection.
The assurance comes from Minister of Works and Transport, Rohan Sinanan.
In a recent media release the Ministry noted the increase in road traffic accidents at the location.
Speaking with members of the media at the area during a visit with engineers, police and other officials, Minister Sinanan said at present there are adequate safety features at the site to enhance safety for the public but additional action will be taken.
Meanwhile, Coordinator of the Road Safety Project of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service, Brent Batson, told reporters enforcement of traffic regulations continue to be a prioirty against irresponsible driving on the nation’s roadways.
