The Ministry of Health has recorded 16 additional covid19 deaths.
The Ministry says among the 16 persons were 6 elderly males, 4 elderly females, 4 middle-aged males, 1 middle-aged female and 1 young adult female.
This country’s death toll has risen has 2,336.
In its latest clinical updated, the Ministry also reported 857 new positive covid19 cases, it noted however, that the cases reported reflects the samples taken during the period December 06th to 08th, and not the last 24 hours.
There are currently 13,696 active positive cases of the virus in Trinidad and Tobago, 507 of which have been hospitalised.
