The Ministry of Health has reported 801 new positive cases of covid19.
It has noted, however, that the number of cases reported reflects the samples taken during the period December 03rd to 05th and not the last 24 hours.
Additionally, 19 more covid19 deaths have been recorded in the last 24hrs.
The Ministry say there are currently, 12,707 active positive cases of the virus in the country of which 509 have been hospitalised.
Some 187 patients are in step-down facilities, 101 are at state quarantine facilities, while 11,210 are in home self-isolation.
