Nineteen more covid19 related deaths have been recorded by the Ministry of Health, taking this country’s toll to 2,177.
In its clinical update this afternoon, the Ministry also reported 658 new positive cases of the virus derived from samples taking during the period Nov 28th to 30th, and not the last 24 hours.
There are currently 10, 956 active positive cases of covid19 in T&T of which 541have been hospitalised.
Meanwhile, the Division of Health, Wellness and Family Development in the Tobago House of Assembly has reported 21 new positive cases of covid19 in the last 24 hours.
In its latest update the Division noted that there are currently 701 active positive cases on the island.
It added that six patients are now warded in the Intensive Care Unit; some 53 patients are in state isolation while 642 are in home isolation.
