Epidemiologist Dr Avery Hinds says that while there are fully vaccinated persons who have succumbed to the Covid 19 virus there has been mitigating circumstances.
Speaking at the Ministry of Health’s Covid Media Update this morning he said that persons who have died while being fully vaccinated have had comorbidities.
He said that the time frames between the time that the persons would have gotten their full vaccinations and death varied.
He said that there appears to be infections spread over various age groups including the younger population.
He also explained that while there seemed to be a jump in infections, he believed that a clearer picture of the increase would be seen by looking at stats at the end of the week.
