The Ministry of Education will admit migrant children into Schools in September 2024, in compliance with the Immigration (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2024.
Guidelines for the admission of migrant children of Venezuela into schools in Trinidad and Tobago were developed in collaboration with the Ministry of National Security and shall apply to Venezuelan nationals under the age of eighteen (18), whose Parents/Lega1 Guardians registered in 2019 and continue to register yearly under the Migrant Registration Framework.
The Ministry of Education, in collaboration with the Ministry of National Security, will present ‘Letters of Admission’ to the successful students at a ceremony on Monday 19th August 2024 at 11:00am.
This ceremony will be held at the MOE, Conference Room 2, Level 4.
Ministers Gadsby-Dolly, Lisa-Morris Julian and Senior Executives of the Ministry of Education will hold a Media Conference to brief members of the media on matters relating to the Education Sector.
