Minister Young advises citizens to avoid mass gatherings and unnecessary travel

National Security Minister, Stuart Young, says it’s important that citizens avoid non-necessary mass gatherings amid growing concerns about the Coronavirus.

He explains that self-discipline and self-imposed caution should also be observed at all times by the population and limit your exposure to public crowds and public places.

Speaking at the weekly post cabinet news briefing held at the Diplomatic Center, St Ann’s this afternoon, Minister Young said the government has not taken the step of certifying or putting public order bans on any of these events.

Minister Young also urged persons to avoid unnecessary travel at this time.
