Minister Webster-Roy Highligts Benefits Of National Digital Skills Programme At CSW67

The government says it is pushing for all ministries to have their services available online for the benefit of citizens.

Adopting this approach will help the population in terms of efficiency, cost effectiveness and empowerment according to Minister with responsibility for Gender and Child Affairs, Ayanna Webster-Roy.

Minister Webster Roy made the comments while delivering the Country Statement at the 7th Plenary Meeting at CSW67 today.

The national digital skills programme minister Webster Roy said has helped clear the way for women and girls to take part in the digital world and will also allow students to bridge the digital divide and ensure inclusion.

However, Minister Webster Roy admitted challenges have been encountered along the way and protection of women and girls remain at the forefront.
