Minister Imbert: Payment To Healthcare Workers To Cost Government $200 Million

It will cost tax payers 200 million dollars to honour its promised payments to ministry of health workers who were on the front line during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Minister of Finance, Colm Imbert, made the revelation during the Spotlight on the Economy held on Friday.

Minister Imbert said the government will follow through on its promise to the healthcare workers and commends them for their hard work during the pandemic.
