Minister of National Security, Fitzgerald Hinds, says Trinidad and Tobago is willing and ready to provide help to Haiti following Sunday’s seven point two magnitude earthquake.
Homes, churches and schools were among buildings flattened in the quake.
Some hospitals were left overwhelmed and in need of supplies.
Official say an unknown number of people are missing and about five thousand, seven hundred have been injured.
Speaking during the TV6 News on Sunday Minister Hinds said Trinidad and Tobago stands ready to assist Haiti.
