In a disturbing case coming out of Michigan, a man was charged with murder after police found out that it wasn’t an accident when he ran over an older woman.
The man did it because he wanted to have sex with her body.
29-year-old Colby Martin, a truck driver, hit 64-year-old Melody Roher, who was on the side of the road, in September in 2021.
He was initially charged with manslaughter and released.
But police officers later found out he was searching how to have sex with dead bodies after the incident, leading them to believe it was premeditated. He was then rearrested on murder charges.
Police allege that Martin ran Roher over, then dragged her dead body into the nearby woods and sexually assaulted it.
His lawyer stated that he doesn’t think the charge will stick.
