Mia Mottley promises to pay for CXC reviews for Barbadian students

Barbados Prime Minister, Mia Mottley said she will pay for anybody who wants to review their CXC grades.

Ms. Mottley made the announcement this evening, Sunday 18th October.

She said her government will pay for CXC reviews for all Barbadian students requiring reviews.

Meanwhile, Chairman of the Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC), Professor Sir Hilary Beckles said the management of the regional body has been urged to swiftly address review requests made by students entering college.

According to Barbados Today, to date, CXC says it has received 2,353 requests for review of CAPE results, and  2,550 for CSEC.

Additionally, requests were received from right across the region in the “ungraded” category.
