Met Service discontinues Adverse Weather Alert

The Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS) has discontinued its Adverse Weather Alert, which went into effect on Sunday morning and was due to end on Tuesday.

According to the TTMS, the atmosphere is becoming more stable and the projected rainfall accumulations have decreased and there is a lower chance of thunderstorm activity.

The release said breezy or windy conditions will persist, with wind speeds near 30 km/hr. Thus, seas can still become agitated due to these winds.
