The public is being warned of an increased in concentrations of Saharan Dust.
The Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service issued the warning in an update today saying that satellite imagery shows the presence of dust particles in the atmosphere:
The Met Office said current analysis suggests that this dust episode will persist in fluctuating concentrations until October 23.
Persons with respiratory and health issues is urged to take precautions and keep medication handy.
The Met Office has also issued an Adverse Weather Alert – Yellow Level from Wednesday until Saturday.
