It is for the north-exposed, near shore coastal waters of Trinidad and Tobago.

The Meteorological Service says the alert will come to an end at 8am on December 22nd.

It said long period, high energy swells continue to produce large breakers in excess of 3 metres along near shore, north-exposed coastlines of Trinidad and Tobago.
