There is the view from Economist, Dr Vanus James, of Tobago having a representative governance model is the way to go to ensure the views, concerns and input of people are not ignored and one person is not allowed to have total control in how things operate.
Dr. James made the comment as he answered a question posed to him on differences of opinions which have been publicly expressed between the Political Leader and Deputy Political Leader of the Progressive DemocraticPatriots of Tobago on issues of national importance.
Dr James spoke on the subject during the Power Breakfast Show on Power 102 Digital Thursday.
The Tobago born economist said allowing people to feel comfortable giving their feedback on a variety of matters facilitates a proper democratic structure.
