Maxi Priest, and well-known Soca artist Teddyson John have done a cover version of Bruno Mars, Anderson Paak, and Silk Sonic’s hit song “Leave The Door Open”
The cover has received rave reviews with Dancehallmag.com describing it as “just be as good as the original”
The duo, who was joined by bass player and producer Taddy P, provided an acoustic version of the in demand song.
According to dancehallmag review, the remake is reminiscent of the Caribbean with Reggae rhythm-infused undertones, and produces a classic Lover’s Rock ballad to get you moving.
The track is Teddyson John’s first Reggae cover and according to him, he was honoured that his debut in the genre was via collaboration with Maxi Priest.
