Maxi driver stabs passenger in City Gate

A Maxi driver reportedly stabbed passenger after argument in City Gate, Port-of-Spain.

According to reports the incident took place on Saturday April 29th at around 9am after a heated argument occurred between a red band maxi taxi driver and one of his passengers.

Eyewitness confirmed that the red band maxi taxi driver reportedly took out a knife and stabbed the passenger several times about the body.

Emergency Health Services were called in and the passenger was taken to the Port of Spain General Hospital where he was said to be in stable condition.

The driver later visited the Besson Street Police Station where he was also taken to the hospital for treatment for minor injuries.
