Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley has revealed his intention to remove the current mandatory mask mandate by mid-July and make it voluntary.
He made the announcement while speaking at a media conference at the VIP Lounge, Piarco International Airport on Saturday afternoon, ahead of his departure for a Caricom meeting in Suriname.
He said: “…Barring any unforseen surge in any new variant, we should be taking these masks off by the middle of this month which is the next two weeks.”
