There continues to ba a high demand for beds in the ICU across the Accident and Emergency Departments and in the parallel health care system.
Dr Maryam Abdool Richards says that this has been a trend for the past seventy six days.
Speaking at the Ministry of Health’s Covid Media Update on Monday she gave an update on the present situation.
She said Covid patients are still taking too long to access health care when they are experiencing moderate to severe symptoms of the Virus.
