Martin George: “Gov’t embarking on mandatory vaccinations despite denying they are!”

The Government has embarked on mandatory vaccination and any denial by them that this is not so is disingenuous.

Chairman of the Tobago Business Chamber Martin George says that based on recent developments it is quite obvious that the Government is moving forward with plans to initiate mandatory vaccination in Trinidad and Tobago.

On December 18 Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley announced that from mid-January, Government workplaces will be dubbed “safe zones” where only the vaccinated will be allowed to enter.

While there will be exemptions for those with medical issues, Dr Rowley said unvaccinated employees will be on leave and will be furloughed.

Speaking on the issue of mandatory vaccinations George said that the Tobago Chamber is all in favour of such a plan.
