Marlene taken for medical attention

Instead of making a Court appearance to be read charges related to an ongoing police investigation, former Minister of Public Administration, Marlene McDonald, who was due to appear in the Court this morning at 9a.m, has taken  ill and is now awaiting treatment at the St. Clair Medical Centre.

She complained of feeling nauseous and dizzy and will now appear in the Port of Spain Magistrates Court around 1.30pm, together with co-accused Michael Carew, Victor McEachrane, Wayne Anthony and Edgar Zephrine.

The five are being charged with several offenses including money laundering, conspiracy to defraud the Government and In Ms McDonalds case misbehavior in Public office.
