Marijuana seized and nurseries discovered in Champs Fleurs

Police seized a quantity of marijuana and marijuana seedlings during an anti-crime exercise conducted in Champs Fleurs on Wednesday 7th April, 2021.

A mobile and foot patrol exercise was conducted in Area West of the Northern Division between 6am and 9am yesterday. Officers acted on information and proceeded to an abandoned house located off Oliver Trace, Mt D’or Road, Champs Fleurs.

Whilst conducting a search of the area, PC Bartholomew found a plastic bag containing 202 grammes of marijuana. Also, at the same location several nurseries were discovered and over 100 marijuana seedlings were destroyed.

PC Bartholomew took possession of the plastic bag and its contents and conveyed the items to the Tunapuna Police Station.
The exercise was spearheaded by Sgt La Pierre, supervised Ag/Cpl Forde, Ag/Cpl Superville, PC Gooding and other members of the NDTF-West.
