Rohan Sinanan, Minister of Works and Transport officially opened the temporary diversion route for the Manzanilla Mayaro Road.
Connectivity has now been restored to motorists and residents from the Manzanilla community and environs.
In November, heavy rain led to the collapse of the roadway.
Minister Sinanan said two contractors were hired to repair a temporary access road which cost around $12 million.
