Man stabbed in Curepe; search on for the attacker

The police are searching for a man who stabbed his own friend during an altercation in Curepe on Saturday.

Reports are that the 32-year-old victim was talking with the acquaintance along Stella Street, Curepe, around 5pm, when the two got into a heated argument.

The acquaintance then pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim twice, before fleeing the scene.

The victim was taken to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex and the police alerted to the incident.
