Officers of the Homicide Bureau of Investigation Region II and the Tunapuna Police Station are conducting enquiries into the murder of a 34-year-old man on Wednesday night.
The deceased, identified as Keon Alexander, was found bleeding in the yard of his St Thomas Street, Tunapuna, home at around 9 pm.
Relatives told police that just moments prior they heard gunshots.
Alexander’s body was removed to the Forensic Science Centre for autopsy.
Police found 25 spent shells and two live rounds of ammunition at the scene.
