The murder toll took another jump on Friday afternoon following the death of an unidentified man in Laventille.
Reports are that officers of the Inter Agency Task Force and the Port of Spain Task Force responded to a shooting on Richardson Lane around 1:30pm and found a man lying dead in the road.
The victim was clad in a plain white T-shirt, three-quarter jeans and slippers.
Investigations are underway.
