A man was murdered in his St. James home on Thursday morning.
The deceased has been identified as 27-year-old Derrick Atkins George who lived at Dundonald Hill.
Around 8:20a.m, residents said they heard several loud explosions at Detour Drive, Bellevue. Upon checking, they found George on the ground bleeding from several gunshot wounds.
He died at the scene.
Police said George was shot multiple times in the arms and chest.
Investigations are continuing.
