A man was murdered in Maloney Gardens early Saturday morning.
The victim has been identified as Javil Bailey, 30, who lived at Building 16 West, Maloney Gardens.
Officers visited the scene after residents reportedly heard loud explosions close to Building 16.
But, they were told that Bailey and another man who was injured, Jordan Mitchell, 23, were taken to the Arima Health Facility.
When officers visited the hospital, they were told that Bailey had died. He was shot 14 times.
Mitchell had undergone treatment for a gunshot wound to the elbow.
No motive has yet been given for the murder.
Police are continuing investigations.
