An unidentified man reportedly fell into the water at an event at the Uber Soca Cruise event.
Video making its rounds on social media shows the party goer struggling to get back unto the a boat after falling in.
The Uber Soca Cruise is being held near Bobby’s Marina in St. Maarten.
The man slipped into the water on Tuesday afternoon – his foot gripped onto a moving propeller and was severed, according to witnesses.
Ambulance officials rushed the tourist to the hospital to try to save his leg.
