There was a fatal accident along the Sir Solomon Hochoy Highway on Monday morning.
An unidentified man was struck down by a vehicle, while he was attempting to cross the southbound lane of the Highway, near Brentwood, Chaguanas.
The incident occurred around 8am and led to a significant traffic pile-up, as traffic was reduced to one lane.
