A man was killed over a cell phone on Saturday afternoon.
Christopher Moore, a labourer, was at his Moruga home on Saturday around 3:30p.m when a man called out to him. According to his mother, her son answered the door and had an argument with a man over a cell phone. Several minutes later, she heard a loud noise and ran outside. There, she saw her son lying on the ground surrounded by a pool of his own blood. He died a few minutes after the incident. The suspect escaped on foot. The Emergency responders were called and removed the body to the hospital.
Police are continuing investigations.
