A man was jailed for nine months after stealing electronic items from a guest house in Balandra.
21 year-old Romario Haynes of Rampanalgas Village, Balandra, stole alcoholic beverages and a television from the guest house and another house within the community.
Haynes was arrested on March 27 officers of Matura police station, after residents reported the incident.
He pleaded guilty to charges of house and pavilion breaking and larceny which occurred on March 7 and March 23.
Haynes case was seen before a Sangre Grande senior magistrate.
According to police reports, in the first incident, at 10 a.m. an owner of a guest house located in Balandra secured the property and went away.
