A 34-year-old man was shot to death in Santa Cruz on Friday night.
At about 7.45 pm, Joseph Pierre was with friends outside a minimart along Pipiol Circular Road when they were ambushed by gunmen.
Pierre and another man, aged 32, were shot several times. Pierre died on the scene.
The other man was taken to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex, where he was treated and warded in a serious condition.
