A Morvant man was shot dead while on Monday afternoon.
According to reports Lyndon La Touche was walking along Flamingo Street, Morvant, just after 11 am when he was confronted by a man in a black hoodie who shot him several times before running away.
Residents heard the gunshots and called the police.
Officers of the North Eastern Division Task Force and the Morvant CID visited the scene – no motive for the murder has been established.
Police from the Homicide Bureau of Investigations Region II are continuing enquiries
