A 23-year-old man who police described as a person of interest was gunned down in Belmont early this morning.
Around 12:30a.m, Shakim Roberts was on a staircase near Mendoza Street when an armed man approached and shot him. The man died on the scene. Police confirmed that Roberts was shot twice, although 21 spent shells were found on the scene.
No motive has yet been given for his killing.
