Man found with marijuana hidden in market bag

A man who tried to hide 100 grammes of marijuana in a market bag at the Princes Town market was arrested on Sunday.

Reports indicate that around 1:00pm, police officers saw a man carrying a market bag of produce. When he saw them, he began to act suspiciously and began walking in the other direction. They had cause to search him and found the drugs hidden among fruit and vegetables. The 38-year-old man who is also a landscaper from Lengua Village in Barrackpore was taken to the Princes Town Police Station to be charged.
