Man drowns in Black Stone beach

73 year old Neville Boland, a grave digger of Circle Drive Embaccadere, visited Black Stone beach on Sunday 27th October (Divali holiday) just before going to church; however he never made it out of the sea alive.

According to police reports, Boland got into the water just after 3 pm and got into some difficulties.

Half an hour later, his body was seen floating in the Gulf of Paria.

It was brought out to shore by residents.
