A four-car smash-up on the Priority Bus Route (PBR) claimed the life of one on Wednesday.
Reports indicate that around 3:30p.m, the driver of a Nissan Almera tried to turn onto the bus route near (VMCOTT) Vehicle Management Corporation of Trinidad and Tobago when it crashed into a maxi taxi. A passenger at the back of the maxi was hit and killed instantly.
The man, who is yet to be identified, is of East Indian descent, 5 feet 8 inches tall and roughly 160 lbs. He was clad in a floral shirt and long blue jeans.
A panel van and a Ford Ranger also crashed into the car and the maxi taxi along the PBR.
Three people were taken to the hospital to be treated for their injuries.
