One man is hospitalised following a chopping incident in Diego Martin on Tuesday.
Reports state that around 6pm at Rich Plain Road, 34-year-old Jimmy Wallace aka “Kushie” was liming with friends, when an argument began with the suspect, 22-year-old Josiah Gooding.
The situation became heated and several persons were able to separate both men who were about to fight.
However, Gooding returned with a blade and chopped Wallace on the face before fleeing the scene.
The victim was taken to the St. James Medical Facility where he was treated and transferred to the Port of Spain General Hospital for additional treatment.
Investigations are continuing.
